I HAVE A 4X4 1986 DODGE RAM 150 WITH 4X4 THE 4X4 WORKS GREAT BUT THE LIGHT ANNOYES ME. IN 2WHEEL DRIVE IT FLICKERS ON AND OFF AND WHEN YOU PUT IT IN 4 WHEEL DRIVE. THE LIGHT SHUTS OFF BUT SOMETIMES FLASHES. THE 4WHEEL DRIVE WORLS GREAT I JUST WISH THAT THE LIGHT WORKED PROPERLY I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD INFO ON HOW TO FIX IT OR IF I COULD BUY AN AFTERMARKET 4X4 LIGHT UNIT AND WERE THANK YOU. There's a wire connector plugged into a thing on the bulge in the driver's side front axle tube that tells the light when to turn on and off, sounds like you might need to take a look at it and clean it up. You could just unplug it and the light wouldn't turn on at all.
