New owner of 93 250 w/cummins turbo diesel. Truck has 86K miles and is in beautiful shape. The 4WD shifter sends off a horrible high frequency vibration at most speeds. I can hold the shifter to reduce or remove the noise but after letting it go, the noise begins again.

Has anyone experienced this and if so, have you been able to reduce or eliminate it?

could be loose linkage underneath allowing the shifter to shake..
