what are the differences between a 90 360 wiring harness and an 88 318 wiring harness?

The reason I ask is I have both and the 360 is starting to hurt but the 318 is a parts truck that runs mint, can I swap the motors and plug everything back in again?

 

Chances are that the harnesses have small differences like plug ends and you might end up with other wires left cause of different accessories/controls. if you wanna put the 318 in replace of that 360, and the 318's harness is exceptional condition it would probly be a safe bet to use the harness with the respective motor. that way your garunteed to have good results.
