I own a 90 dodge ram with a 5.2. It currently has a 3 speed, and doesnt get that great of gas mileage. Just wondering if there is such a thing as 3 speed witt overdrive for this model, or I would have to modify much to get one put in of a earlier or later year?

 

Wow! I figured there were some people who would know the answer to this. Guess everyone's stumped. I know I'm no mechanic, but I figured there were some out there. Can't anyone help me?

 

My 1984 has manual 3 plus Over drive. So they are out there.
You did not state auto or manual.

 

I would think so, I have a 1991 Dodge D-150 with a 3 speed auto and overdrive.

 

Mines a 1991 D150 w/ a 5.2L and its got a 3+1 on the column.
