Default Seat belts

Hi all,

The driver's seat belt in my 86 D150 is not working properly. It seems that it still retracts strongly enough, but it refuses to block when pulled hard, so of course it's useless. I know I can buy replacements, but those are generic black seat belts. Does anyone know if it's a type of problem that can be fixed (and what to look for specifically, before I start taking that apart) or does it really need replacing. These belts will be nice enough when cleaned, with nice buckle receptables and are color coordinated (light blue) with the inside of the truck. All I've found online were generic replacements.

Thanks.

Default RE: Seat belts

Well....nevermind....I read the old manual I did not know about this inertia system that doesn't lock when you just tug hard on it like the standard belts I'm used to. It's neat....let's hope it works!
