I have a 1991 Dodge Ram D-150 with 318ci EFI. I find a performance chip from Jet for my truck. Has anybody put one in there truck and know how hard is it to put in the E.C.U.?

Ok, don't everyone reply at once. I got the Jet Chip today for my truck. Very easy to put in. My ECU is right next to the battery, three bolt to remove it. Plug and go. I don't have to power brake to smoke my tires though drive. I don't have shift kit yet, but first to second is nice right now.

You can't flash the pre-96 ECUs.
I would also advise against a jet chip (no matter what stage). The computer will quickly learn it's way around it and make it nothing more than an expensive paper weight.
Here's some track proven info: http://www.rm-indy.com/Jet_Sucks.htm

Stage 1 is a think $220.99 and Stage 2 is $245.99. I can feel a huge gain of power. Look on www.summitracing.com and the part numbers are Stage 1 is pretty much stock truck, nothing really done to it (JET-99107) and Stage 2 is if you have full exhaust, lower thermostat (I have a 160 degree thermostat) (JET-99107S). I'm going to the race track this weekend to see what it runs now.
