Default 1984 Ram 150 Stop Light Switch

I have a short in my electrical system. I am not yet exactly sure where. Here is the issue at hand, old stop light switch was bad. It has been replaced. Still no break lights. Fuse was replaced and it blows right away. The fuse powers multiple things, such as dome light, map light, buzzers, etc. I am curious, I have 3 or 4 open spaces on the fuse box. Could I isolate the stop lights to its own fuse? On the stop light switch, does anyone know which wires are "hot"? There are two two plastic quick connects on the stop light switch itself, one with a pink wire and a white wire, and the other with a blue & red wire, white & red wire, a white wire, and a blue wire? Any help is greatly apperciated!!!

I had to replace my engine wireing harness on my 84 Ram.
Without my electronic tester and being there I cannot tell you.
Color is not a constant given, sorry.
Auto Zone does have books that may have a wiring diagram on your truck is.
My truck and book is at another town so I can't check my book.
I do plan to go there Saturday and will check it out then.
