Default Performance Parts

You know what I hate about some people, that there right, it sucks because you think it right cause it running great it falls out of the ECU. The Jet Performance Chip was great for the first hour or so. I put it on the ECU, got out on the street, punched it, awsome! Tire smoking and then dead. The harness fell out of the ECU. The Jet Chip does not sit all the way in the ECU, so when you think the bolt is good on the harness, wrong, it's not. Oh, yeah, Summit Racing hates older Dodge Trucks because the Summit Racing Long Tube Headers are not really fitting right on the heads. I thought is was just me blowing header gaskets, but no the headers don't fit right. A couple of people told about this, no I don't listen. And with the Summit Racing long tube headers, you have to cut part of your motor mount to even fit the driver side header in. Back to the stock manifolds.

IIRC Summit contracts their headers out to the cheapest manufacturer possible. Thin tubing, thin flanges, and poor quality control. That's why they can offer a set of headers for $100, when everyone else is at $300+ for decent stuff.

The nice thing about Summit Racing is their customer service - call and tell them the parts just don't fit correctly and you'd like to return them (exchange for something better).
