No speedometer/odometer in 92 150 4x4
Sorry for the long delay, I finally had a chance to get back tothe truck. The local dealer didn't have any gears in stock and it would be a few days before he could get a new gear, but he suggested a local transmission shop that usually stocked old ones them from replacements. Went over there and he had a used one for about 1/3 the price of new! The guy in the tranny shop also gave me a good piece of advice - if you put it in and it still doesn't work, rotate the housing 90 degrees and try it again. I had to do that on mine. I snapped a couple pictures while I was at it - you can see where the old one was chewed up, probably from being misaligned and run that way. All I had to do wasslip the new gear in and put it back together...then rotatethe housing90 degrees from how it was originally. It works great now, thanks for the help everybody!
