leveling/lowering?

does anyone know how to lift the front end or lower the rear on a 1986 d-100 2wd 318 2bbl

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. My truck, sits high in the back so im going with 1 in. lowering block and hopefully it will level out. I mean they were only 15$, you can also put spring spacers in thfront coils or take out a rear leaf but that can get you in trouble.

Where did you get the lowering block? My 88 is down on the left side, still higher than the front and the bed fills with water when it rains.

well nevermind the blocks, got em at auto zone, i just took out the bottom leaf and i got what i wanted, almost an inch it almost unnoticeable, but it helps and its free

lowering blocks on that truck will raise the back not lower it, because the springs are on top of the axle. A friend of mine used 88-98 chevy (yuk) 2" lowering shackles on his ramcharger and they fit and cured his problem. You can get those shackles anywhere from belltech to AIMs .
