Default '89 Power Ram 5.9L

I'm having a hard time finding aftermarket products for the 360 c.i. tbi engine. What I want is monster low-end torque. What combination would you recommend for this set up? i'm talking heads, intake, cam, exhaust headers? What gains are we talking about? I know you can't know for sure but i'd like a rough estimate. As i read some where else, the 360 has more potential than the ford 302, chevy 350, ford 351? reading that made me happy but i can't seem to find anything. The reason? I'm a newbie. Don't know anything about dodge. thx for the help!

Ditch the TBI. Seriously. Either go simple and toss a holley 600 on it, or update it to MPFI.

OEM iron 4bbl intake manifold is basically an edelbrock design and they're cheap.

You want torque? 408 stroker, high compression. Grab a set of Magnum HD heads (not the RTs), a decent slightly lumpy cam, good exhaust setup, good spark controller, coil, you know, the goodies.

Can you do it for $3k? If you know how to turn a wrench pretty well, yeah. Otherwise you might want to stick with stock stroke, clean up the bores and bump the compression up quite a bit.

if i were to update to mpfi, would that be an easy transition? what parts would i have to rip out of the donor vehicle and what has to be done to the current engine for that to work?
