Default need d-100 318 to 360 help

i have a ready to go 360 and tf 727 ready to drop in a 73 d-100 my concern is one the flex plate i got when i got the motor its small almost like a cross i believe for internally balanced motors but from what i understand the 360 is external.
the motor is from a b-300 van from 79 origanally i dont know if the oil pan will work either has well has motor mounts
i dont have any for the 360 just my 318 also should i keep my thermoquad? i dont know its current cfm i have a edelbrock but its only 600cfm the motor is almost stock it has headers bolted on trw pistons stock comp port matched and polished also the intake is a edelbrock victor and a hd rv cam from comp cams
my old motor is a 318 from 79 and has a tf 904 the new one is a 79 360 with a tf727 from a b300 van plzzz help

1) Get a new torque converter/flex plate, and get quality. The 360 doesn't use the same as the 318, but you can get a weight kit to weld on, but imho it's better off doing it right.
2) Oil pan probably won't work. My buddy has a 73 w100 that he put a 318 out of a 78 van. Oh, yours is 2wd, it might be fine.
3) Carb - thermoquads are good, you could go either way though, the 600 cfm Eddy would be fine as well. Stock/mild 360s only need about 570-600 cfm anyway.

the guy rebuilding my trans told me my current flexplate will be fine if i get a externally balanced torque converter does that sound right?
and will the trans drop inwithout drive shaft mods going 904 to 727?
also while its out anything else i may has well do im converting my stock points to elec also getting advance springs and the summit cap/rotor wires kit got the ngk r's headers and 2.5 inch mufflers anything i may be missing to get this thing running good?

The driveshaft I'm not sure about, you'll have to measure the length of both trannies and check to get the correct U-joint, since you may need to get one that adapts between different sizes.

Are you getting the Mopar Orange ECM and distributor kit? If not, get the Orance ECM and get a good coil. Also, get a 14x3 or 4" K&N open filter. I noticed a HUGE improvement when I switched from stock filter to a larger open element. The stock one was choking my engine.
