for anyone who has had the pewter vacuum port tree on the back of the intake break off when you're installing/removing it, I think i've found a solution: the older Ramvans w/ a 318/360 had a similar type aparatus, but it was made of steel, becuase there was a steel vac line going to the break booster all the way in the front of those vans. this peice fit in my engine's intake port very nicely and could be tightend very easily with a 3/4 wrench. I found this thingy in a junk yard after autoparts stores didn't have it and i messed up 3 of the pewter ones at a junk yard trying to get it off. I know this bit was long winded, but it thought there was someone else out there who destroyed those things and couldn't find them too.
