Default Rebuilding Leaky 2bbl Holley?

Hey, I'm new the the forums, and even Dodge trucks. I bought an 87 Ram wit ha 318. And in the last 2 days, I've driven it over 400 miles, then yesterday, all of a sudden it died in an intersection. I found today that the carburetor is a leaky SOB. It's a Holley 2 barrel (not sure of the model yet), and I'm guessing I need to rebuild it. I've attached a picture of where it seems like it's leaking. Anyone ever had this problem? Never rebuilt a carb either... just motors. Any advice?

Thanks,
Shaun

Okay, so I got all the new gaskets on and everything. The truck fires up, and will run. But only for a handful of seconds. Sometimes I can even get it to idle, but not for longer than a minute. Any ideas?

Man, have you checked the fuel filter? I had a ford Courier once that would start after sitting a little while and run for a few min. then starve out and die. We changed out all sorts of stuff before I finally tried a fuel filter and that fixed it. Good luck.

Fuel filter is brand new. Truck ran fine until yesterday. Now it won't stay running. but I did fix the fuel leak in the carb! Woo! I just have another problem I can't identify somewhere, and that aggrevates me...
