Default QC on Dodge accy's stink

Just received rear splash guards [part#82210380],Side window delectors [part #82210553],and rear cargo tray [part#82210462].First the good news. The Cargo tray fits. The finish on the plastic is a bit much but it might diminish over time. The splash guards don't fit worth a crap.I wonder if anyone at Dodge or the vender that makes themever tried bolting a pair of these on.If they did, they should be fired because they do not follow the contour of the body panel.I am not sure what to do with them yet.The window shades are the same way.Different vender, but it looks like they employ the same QC person. The front and rear door shades do not follow the same angle that the door does at the piller, when mounted in position.I marked the angle with tape before I stuck them to the door thank goodness. So I think I can salvage these things by reshaping the angle with a dremil or high cycle.I have a rear spoiler on the way we'll see how that goes.So not to bash the factory but they are responsible in the endfor the vender's making this stuff.I put this out there so maybe things will change.Hopefully for the next generation of parts anyway. These do carry MOPARS name. Most importantly is for the people reading this and who are thinking of spending more hard earned cash on factory accys that don't fit aswell as the name would suggest. Thanks for listening to me cry.

Let me know how the spoiler goes and who you got it through. Is it coming painted or are you getting it painted? Thanks

Here's the latest info.If your interested. The window deflector's are on but without some modifications.I changed the angle with some carefull cuting of a dremel and wet sanding. They look good. The spoiler I was sent was damaged so it was sent back and new one should be here soon.As with first post the verdict is still out on that one. This leaves the splash guards. The part number listed on the dodge websight and any other place for that matter [82210380]will not fit.Well let me rephrase...they will go on but they don't fit well.Through some searching this same number is listed for the '07 Sebring. So I take one of the guards to a local dealer who has a Sebring sitting there.I asked if he would mind if I tried out the fitment...perfect fit.So thenI try another Avenger sitting there thinking maybe mine has some wierd profile end of friday lets get the hell outa here stamped quarter panel on it.No luck, same as mine and yours for that matter. So do not get these guards unless less than perfect is for you.In which case just go to Autozone and save the expense of a MOPAR part.I wrote Dodge twice concerning thisand I get standard form stuffed shirt answers.Actually they arne't even answers."My problem has been documented".Don't expect this to be changed soon because I get the attitude that they could care less what Ithink. They have my twenty plus grand and they are happy with that.I think the ship is sinking and everyone is worried about theirown a$$.The rest of us can fend for ourself's.I would love to here positive experience's with customer service, mine so far stinks.

For anyone keeping track. The second spoiler showed up yesterday.Installed last night with no issue's.Waited for the sun to come up today to see how well the paint matched in natural light. The paint is a spot on match and is layed down better than the factory. The style of the spoiler is a near perfect match to OEM.This is an aftermarket product, which fits and customer service is lightyears ahead of Daimler Chysler.Spoiler Solutions has an E-Bay store.$250.00 delivered in a week.First class outfit, check them out. Thanks for listening.Tim

Who installed the spoiler? GFs wanting one and normally I'd do it myself, but on a brand new car I'm a lil hesitant...

If you think you can handle it,then do it.It's not that big of a deal. This thing mounts like an oem one.Look inside the deck lid. You'll see where the five relieve's are in the "inner" panel. If you need pointers on where to locate let me know. You can stop and look at a factory installed one.So you can look at "setback" in relation to deck lid.Spoiler solutions sends a set of plastic locator's so you can drill in exact location. When you get done ,those five fresh hole's look daunting.Get a hold of me

Thanks for saying where the spoiler is from. I am in the market for a spoiler and I was worried about the color match.Oh by the way, You didn't have to buy different supports for the trunk did you? Is it ABS or Fiberglass?

No problem, spoiler solutions did nice work for me.If you get one from them.Tell them Tim from Mansfield sent ya.I told them that maybe posting on here might sell a few. They are fiberglass and so far the supports are fine.According to Chrysler parts they are same as R/T model for what that is worth. It is kinda nice because the extra weight is just enough to let it shut on it's own.Mudflaps are still an issue.I did gat a set of sillguards [82210460] they look sweet.I would love to put a set of R/T headlamp assy's on but I'm affraid of the price.Havn't looked into that yet.Speaking of R/T's I was checking one out last weekend. The local dealer got a black one in.Which is the color of mine and I wanted to see how much better those headlamp assy's looked.I was checking out the wheels....chrome plastic covers? How lame is that.Good luck Sue,Tim
