Avenger Diesel
The avenger was released in Sweden a few weeks ago.
I think I will go for the Diesel, a european privilige:
140 hp @ 4000rpm
229 lb ft @ 1750 rpm
6 speed manual gearbox
Is there someone out there that have tested this version?
For you guys reading swedish, follow the link

yes, i tokk one for a testdrive a couple of weeks back and ordered one as soon as i returned it.
its a tried and tested 2.0l turbo diesel from VW. it has enough power and torque to push the car along smoothly, and is nice to drive. i wouldnt mind having 20 hp more tho.
inside was a bit of a let down, my old car is an audi and i guess im used to a different standard.
if you open the boot you can see the cabling just fastened to the sides - no covereing
the inside console looks a little plastic, and also loooks as tho its a bit sensitive to scratches.
lots of things i do like tho - thats why i ordered one (black metallic)
with the prices of super now topping 1,30€/l (thats about 2$/l or 10$/gallon i guess) diesel looked the right choice.
