Door opening issues
Hi, a newbee here...
Just got an new Avenger and noticed the drivers door doesn't stay in the intermediate position very well. When I open it to get out, it has bounced back into me a couple times. It seems like the pawl springat the hinge isweak. The pass side seems better. Anyone else experience this?
Thanx

Yes I have the same issue only its on both my front doors.. not sure about the rear ones I will have to get back to you on that one... Also have the same issue on a rented Chrysler 300. I was assuming they didnt make the notches big enough to hold the doors open but springs would do it too..
Thanks for your input.
I didn't check the back doors...
I went to the service dept. this morning to drop it off for "delivery". They wash it, clean the interior, install the floor mats and fill 'er up.
I was explaining the issue with the door and he seemed to think it was normal and acted as if I was the very first person to have a problem with it.

Take it to another dealership to have it checked, as it is not normal at all. Chrysler does care and wants to know any problems between dealership and customer. I have a great dealership that I buy from, so I am lucky.
