Aux. input question
I have a question about the aux. input on the front of my radio. I am trying to plug my PSP into the radio to play the mp3s I have on it. When I plug the cable (headphone style plug) into the input in immediately recognizes it. I then plug the other end into the headphone jack of the PSP, and I get nothing. The sound goes away from the PSP speakers, but doesn't come out of the car system. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Am I using the wrong cable? Help please.
Actually the radio will report that it found an aux input no matter what you shove in the Aux input hole so
I would check to make sure youraux cableis good by plugging it into another device and seeing if audio comes out.(Which it probably is)
that your PSP volume is turned up (Which it probably is)
that your radio volume is turned up (Which it probably is)
that you switched the radio to use Aux input (Which you probably did)
and that your plug is a stereo plug which means it has 3 silver areas on the plug (Even though a mono plug will work) but some plugs have an added channel for remote functions so you may not be making the right connection when you plug it in.
There isnt too much involved with troubleshooting Aux connections so thats about all I can think of at this time..
