Hey Crew,

I was thinking of replacing my headlights with Silverstars. I had them in my old Neon and they where great. I did have one issue that i wanted to see about. In my Neon, the Headlights got hot and cracked the plastic but not bad enough to get water in. If i switch will this be an issue do you think. I love the look of them.

If you have them, do you knotice the difference and how hard is it to replace the bulbs. I know there 9005 & 9006

I runnin' SilverStars in my '05 Dakota. Like 'em a whole bunch.

 

I've heard the lifespan is pretty short for the SilverStars so they have to be replaced often. Is this true?

 

I had a set in my Neon for 3 years. I only had to replace one the whole time i had them in. I haven't had any issues. I love the quality of them as well.

I should be interesting trying to change lights in this new car. I have yet to try.

 

Goin' on one year for my SilverStars,, no burn outs yet.
