Does the navigation system "speak" to you? For example, will a voice tell you to "in 2/10 of a mile, take a right onto Williams road"? Or does this system require you to constantly look at the screen for your next turn? Just curious.

 

Yes it does speak and alerts you to upcoming turns and road conditions. With all my complaints about the radio I do have to say that the turn alerts are timed nearly perfectly.

I have used other GPS systems that alert you too early or too late but the MyGIG system is pretty good in that area.
