Default Headlight Replacement Help

Hey Crew,

I just picked-up a set of Silver star bulbs for my car. I was wondering if anyone knew how to take them out.? The owners manual wasn't exactly informative. Can they be replaced from the back or do i need to pull out the assembly. I had to take the whole thing out on my Neon i had, just not sure if it was the same way.

Thanks

Both the low and high beams can be removed by opening the hood, rotating the bulb connector from the back of the lighting assembly and pulling them out without any tools.

I was having a tough time getting into the low beam light because there is limited space to take that bulb out from there. I was thinking of unscrewing the whole unit and sliding it out a bit for me to get in there. Has anyone had an easier time getting into there without unscrewing the assembly?

That's probably going to be your only 2 options.. Taking the assembly out or getting them from behind..I went outside and removed them from behind just to make sure before i posted my previous post and while I agree it is tight, I was able to do it with a little patience.. Well OK.. A lot of patience.. especially since it was raining at the time.. lol

I'll try to do it "patiently" even though I have little patience. But at least I now know that it was done without removing the assembly. Thanks futil
