I just replaced my front door speakers. I spent $100 on a set of Alpine 6 1/2 2-way speakers. They have a built in tweeter in the center of the woofers. That really woke up the highs coming from the stock stereo. I did not touch the dash tweeters. I'm pleased.

First of all thank you to everyone for the information and help, we really appreciate it. After a lot of discussion and time spent at the local A-V store we decided to go with a pair of MTX Thunder Dome Axials model TDX6502 in the doors, and a set of MTX Thunder Axe model TX1000 25MM soft dome tweeters in the dash. the grills pop off and the inline filter is on the tweet itself i have never seen a tweet in the shape of the stock ones and have been unable to find replacements considering buying a component set up and jsut dropping the tweeter pucks in the hole i have the base speaks they suck *** my hyundai had more power stock
