Default Flowmaster 80, dask kit and other ?

Hey Crew,

I traded in my ol 04 Neon and i removed the Flowmaster that was on it. It was the 80 series that has the dual exits, simular to the R/T set-up. Im thinking about adding this to my SXT.

Does anyone forsee this as being an issue. I think i read something about adding the R/T exhaust to the non R/T cars. I think it would make it sound better, expecially if you have the 3.5.

The other is any one have the K&N filter.. any difference in HP or Mileage.? I have the 2.4

I also see the dash kits they make for the car on ebay. Had anyone used one to make the car look better? If so id love to see some pics.

Has anyone noticed the noise that the 2.4 makes? WTH here? Is this due to the small oil passages in it or a bad design?. Since they still make the Chrysler 2.4 thats in the PT Cruiser, why not use that and make it a little better. Atleast that motor was easy to fix and less noisy.

SRT Caliber Parts... Im assuming that there going to be partially inter changeable with the 2.4. I want the engine cover at the least to get ride of the boring one. Turbo 2.4 Avenger would be a sweet sleeper, if not seeing if a oh 5.7 hemi would fit in the bay.? any one measured?

Thanks

Do you mean engine when you step on the gas ? Or at idle, etc. ?

Crusin08Avenger,

I added a full dashboard kit to my R/T a few months ago and am VERY happy with how it came out. You can check out some pics in my post "And now... the interior pictures!!!" from 23 Oct 2007. Proce was very reasonable and the kit quality was fantastic.
