Hey, Anyone know where I can get an air filter for the 3.5 for a decent price. The dealership wants 30 bux. Thats crazy. If youve seen the filter its a simple square one that autozone sells for under 10, but they dont have one for our cars yet and the dealers are taking advantage.

 

K&N makes an air filter. go to their website and you can get the model number that fits the new avenger, take it to Autozone and have them order it for you. Its around $50 but it will be worth your money. It improves performance slightly as well.

Hey, I found the the Fram CA9054 is an exact match to our filter, its just the most auto places have not updated their systems. I found it at http://www.partsamerica.com/productd...=2&PTSet=A. I was able to buy it at my local autozone for 8 bux. The KN is nice but is a pain to clean. Even if I change this every 10k it will still be cheaper (car is leased). Any other brand that is interchangable with the ca9054 would also work.
