Hey guys im new here, I have a friend who has a 08 avenger with the four cylinder and we do courier work. His engine is toast and i was wondering can you swap it from the top, or do you have to drop the k-frame? Firestone is wanting several thousand dollars to replace, mostly because they want to put in a brand new motor. the car has 17x,xxx miles and he is just trying to avoid having to buy another car and continue on his car payments for a car he cant drive.

Im decently experienced, have done some engine swaps in the past and i dont blink at pulling an engine down. I just dont have all i need for dropping k frames at the moment, due to moving and not having a garage, just a carport with a cement floor.
