Default 2008 Dodge Avenger R/T reset key 4 times now replaced WCM

Okay, so I bought my 2008 Dodge Avenger R/T AWD four months ago, and I have been having an issue where the car will start & then die, & the theft light will blink, not allowing me to start the car. Three times in 3 months this has happened & all 3 times the keys were reset as well as the car I'm assuming. Then it happened a fourth time, so at this point I've had it. Took it to Dodge, they reset the key so it would drive, ran diagnostics, & nothing showed up. However, they said the made an "educated guess" & replaced the wireless control module. Does this sound reasonable? To replace that over the ECU when I said I thought it could be the ECU? I just don't want this happening again & wanted to know if anyone else experienced this & if replaced the WCM fixed the issue?
