I recently purchased a 2012 Avenger and within one week the u connect system failed and had to be replaced - I was unable to push and button as it locked up and the power stayed on even when the driver door was opended. The dealership had no reason as to why and replaced the unit. Yesterday the replaced u connect system failed again. Is there any history out there as to why these unit fail, any history to a fix besides replacing the unit????

 

there is a software update for the U-Connect module that's suppose to fix this issue. But as for now, Your dealer will probably have to replace it again. You probably got a bad one out of the box.
