Radio Failure (08 Dodge Avenger)
I've got an 08 Dodge Avenger which I just had shipped to Germany from the US for a military move. The radio was working just fine for a few days (Up to about 2pm local time here). I went out to pick my wife up from work no less than 2 hours later and the radio was completely blank after turning over the engine. No clock, no channels, no audio whatsoever. I've checked the 19 and 20 fuses underneath the hood, and there's no issues there, they were both good. I'm just short of pulling the radio out itself. I really don't want to have to pay an ungodly amount of money at a Dodge dealership here in Germany for them to just diagnose it as something stupid. It's the stock radio, no navigation or Uconnect, and I'm pulling my hair out.
I'll have to do that tomorrow morning, as the sun's already set here and the parking lot is rather dimly lit. I hope that's the case, and hope that it didn't set the radio into a tailspin due to loss of power.
I did notice on another forum something that I forgot to mention: I did just have the windshield completely replaced and it's happened on another vehicle. Who should I take this up with at this point? My insurance company, the windshield replacement people, or the dealership here in Wiesbaden?
