Default a/c inoperative

hello everyone. i have a 2008 avenger 2.4l with the a.c inoperative and a present code B1002. if i disconnect the battery and reconnect a/c works for about a minute and then shuts off....pressures are normal. signal coming from pressure switch looks normal... .9v a/c light is on and ambient air temp sensor is reading normal (80 degrees f). it has stored codes for amb. temp sensor and evap temp sensor as well...but this is because i had disconected them at one point. codes were erased and car was driven...air worked about 3 minutes and shut off again....i would like to know please if anyone knows what this code is and how to test it?? thanx in advance
