hey guys i have a dodge avenger 2008 and my keyless remote has stopped working. i have changed the battery in it and now it will work periodically. does anyone have a suggestion of what be causing this. when the remote does work it normally is to lock it. but i can not get it to unlock and i have to open it with the key and the alarm goes off and then i have to start the car in order for the horn to stop honking.
