Electronic Throttle Control
I have a 2009 Dodge Avenger SE (140,000Km). My (ETC) Electronic Throttle Control light has come up a couple of times recently. Only when it is very cold outside, -25C. (London, Ontario, Canada)
I can get up to 40-50km then the light comes on, the Lightning Bolt . Only effecting the cars performance a little. I take my foot of the gas, the warning light goes out and the car performs normal.
This happened at the beginning of January when we got lots of snow and it got really cold. The weather warmed up and the light never came on again and the car performed well and normal. Until now when it is very cold again!
