dodge avenger uconnect

if i install a uconnect in my 2012 avenger does it need to be programmedby the dealer or is there a way to progam it myself? thanks

You have to have a Uconnect capable radio for it to work. Depending on your radio level, the build configuration MIGHT need to be change, so yes.
