2008 Dodge Avenger oil pressure sensor.

The warning light and sound come on when the car idles, as soon as I step on the gas it goes away. I would like to replace the sensor, but it's located behind the exhaust pipe. Is there a trick on how to get to it? or is there an easy way to disable the chime?
