I have a 2012 dodge avenger se with a 2.4l. The etc light came on a few weeks ago. I removed the etc, cleaned it and reinstalled it. I haven't seen the light since but the check engine light came on the other day and the car shut off. I went to advance auto to have the code read and it said the crankshaft position sensor needed replaced. I did that but the car is still in limp mode. What else can I do, I dont have a lot of money to take it to a shop

 

Any other codes or still the same code? You can take it to a shop and have them look at it before spending money....
