Default 08 Avenger ETC - Engine not firing

I have a 2008 Dodge Avenger with a little over 180,000 miles on it. I haven't had any issues majorly prior to this. I parked the car, came back to start it and leave but the ETC light came on and the engine kicks and kicks like its going to start but it won't fire and actually start. So currently I'm stuck without a vehicle. I'm just looking for anyone who's had similar issues or anyone with a solution.

I know there was a part that needed replaced however it's ran fine for some time without it. It's a cam or crank sensor in the front (can't remember off the top of my head). I'm wondering if that would fix anything. I replaced the electric throttle inside shortly after this issue - didn't fix it. So I'm wondering what will or if that specific part will. I've also heard suggestions such as the fuel pump needing replaced. Any help or direction would be appreciated at this point, I've heard it's common with these after so many miles. It's like the car wants to start but just doesn't fully get there. Any help would be awesome, thank you!

If you have a bad cam or crank sensor, that needs to be replaced asap.

Do you think that could possibly solve the problem?

Hard to tell. Have you had it scanned for codes?

Yes, that was the only code it threw. Just checked the fuel pump, kicked on fine. Getting the sensor today hopefully that fixes it. If it doesn't - I don't even know

Fix known problems first.
