13 dodge avenger 2.4
I'm new here and I need heeeeelllp.
so my 2013 dodge avenger is acting like a total b word.so it all started when I needed to pass emissions.i had my purge valve replaced and then my check engine light went off.it came back on 3 days later with a jerk when I start the car and pull off.so i went to go get my check engine light checked and it read code p0868 transmission fluid pressure low,so everyone swore up and down I needed trans fluid.so boom I poured 2quarts and a Lucas trans treatment in...later that night I'm driving car starts running hot.i pull over.my friend told to me to ride with my heat on to make it home so the car wouldn't run hot.it worked.but as I was driving it felt like my car wasnt going into different gears and kinda sounded like a race car and was sooooooo slow and my rpm was stuck between 4 and 5.took it to AAMCO and they basically said nothing had my car the whole day,and said nothing,wanted me to pay 200 so the shop foreman could trace back where the problem came from which sounded stupid to me cuz in the same breath he said nothing was wrong with my transmission,it just shut down.he claims it's not mechanical it maybe electrical.anyone else had this problem?
