Considering a 2014 Avenger or 2014 200
Hi everyone, thinking about buying a 2014 Avenger or 2014 200 with a 3.6L V6 and I have a few questions. From my understanding, these cars post 08 use throttle by wire. Does the 62TE use mechanical or shift by wire shifter? Also, is the emergency brake mechanical or electric by wire? Is the normal brake pedal a direct line brake or a brake by wire?
I have read a lot of issues with TIPM on post 2007 models for all chrysler vehicles. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from being a problem or is it just an age issue/mileage issue? How common is it?
Any advice on how to get a long life from a 62TE other than 30K transmission flushes with ATF+4 like I have with my 42LEs?
Anything else I need to be aware of?
