Hey guys, so I was driving my avenger going about highway speeds, I stepped on the gas just a little bit to regain speed and the engine redlined and the car slowly came to a stop and would not move, no drive or reverse . The car has never shown any transmission issues prior to this incident. I got it towed home and read the following codes P0716, P0721, P0791. It’s reading that both output and input speed sensors are bad. I checked all the wires/grounds for these, I then removed the transmission pan to inspect for metal, surprisingly absolutely nothing but a small glitter and the fluid was still bright pink. This makes me wonder if my transmission has actually failed or if it’s those sensors.
