i agree about the 86ing the who waves first rule. like the previous post says.

BTW, I have a Kawasaki Ninja and I wave at all the bikes i see unless i need my hand for something (aka clutch control or something lol)

it's a Ninja 250 btw, so not EXACTLY a crotch rocket; maybe thats why i'm nicer than the d00ds who dont wave :P lol

There are a ton of 2nd Gen Daks (not too many 1st or 3rd) around the tri-city (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge) region and no one waves, I imagine that's because a> they're all asshats, and b> no one else waves, so why bother.

I suppose if I started the wave, it may be reciprocated but I doubt it.
It's summer so my windows are down, and my arm is usually grippin' the outside of the door -- not gonna get that driver's tan any other way ya know -- so it's easy enough, but if my windows are up I ain't rollin' it down to wave hah... and they won't see a wave from behind the tint.

The funny thing is, Pretty much every Dak owner (myself included) stares other Dak owners down around here. We're always sizing up the other's ride. Though I'm sure that's common for anyone with the same vehicle.

Lots of people check out Pearl, but that's because she's got beautiful paint, and one hell of a set of pipes. Just wish she had the R/T package to back it all up... Someday though, someday.

But I digress...

If anyone else in KW frequents this forum, let's get the wave going here, It's a great idea, and pays homage to a great truck that is at it's end of life as of 2011.

Last time I saw a dude on a crotch rocket wave he ended up with road rash and a pile of twisted metal.
