lol racing is so expensive, it's easy to blow 5-6 thousand in your quad before it's ready to race, thats not encluding the trailer, fuel for truck and quad and extra tires, rims, etc

 

Quad racing expensive? Don't get me started on the cost of racing a door-car... Racing period is simply expensive on it's own!

Racing every weekend we were blowing through probably a thousand dollars a weekend. After you include fuel, tires, oil, regular mantaince stuff, entry fees, parking fees... it gets crazy.

Every week it gets torn down and gone through.

 

What we're doing doesn't sound HALF as bad now! We go through $50 of race fuel ($8/gal) per weekend, plus tow fuel ($10 for kennedale, $40 for Crandall, $75 for Denton), plus entry fees (Up to $100 for bracket racing).

Racing anything is extremely expensive. When I turned 16 my father made me start to pay for it. I was working at a farm at the time and every check I got when straight into that bike. Then college comes along and sucks even MORE money out of you. Now I get to be flat broke until I'm done with school.. Woo

I too thought about it I think I've rode my bike maybe 10-15 times this summer. The summer of 09 I rode prob about 30-35 times. Nothing compares to before I got my license I used to ride almost everyday. I still want to sell it but really for all I will get out of it I dont think its two worth it. I think ill just run it till it blows up which with 400exs might be a very long time lol
