Default discount parts

i recently found a company on the web and on ebay "auto parts direct to you". i was wondering if anyone has done any buying from them. i was considering picking up a fuel pump from them (a $100 difference than autozone and advance)

I may have ill have to go back and see but just remember you get what you pay for and also if you find that same brand cheaper autozone will price match it. I think autozone will too. I just got a fuel pump a month ago I got it for 196.00 at autozone and its airtex brand.

the only problem with the price match is that these people don't list a brand... but when they only charge 126.00 compared to 230.00, i have to at least check into it. i've sent them a message asking who the manufacturer is, now i'm waiting for a reply..

i had written them a message through e-bay asking what brand it was and they said it was made by APDTY (auto parts direct to you?) i highly doubt they manufacture their own fuel pumps.

based on the amount of work to install it, and how pissed off you'll be if it doesn't last, and the time and trouble to try to get a warranty exchange, i would avoid them.

see rockauto.com for brand name items. if you feel like it, print out the rockauto price and take it to Advance and ask them if they want to match it or not. see what happens. the tax as Advance will likely be about the same as the shipping from rockauto.

Well I used mine at autozone cause I have the rewards card and I got it for 178.00 with tax and warranty. So im happy about that. beats the 285 napa wanted and the 270 advanced wanted. As far as doing the pump I found it easier to take my whole bed off then trying to get my skid plate off then dropping my half full tank of gas plus I sanded and painted my frame.
