Hey guys a little update with what ive been doing since i got rid of the Dakoter for a Yoter!

Heres what i have been building for the past month!

Shes a 89 toyota pickup w/ the 22re engine(EFI). 5 speed tranny with Marlin Crawler Transfer Case with a Marlin Crawl Box geared to 4.7. 85 front solid axle, 89 rear wide track axle w/ 5.29:1 gear ratios pushin 35x12.50x15 BFG A/Ts atm, I also have a set of 35X10.50 Super Swamper Boggers for wheelin and muddin. Front and rear Detroit lockers w/ warn locking hubs. Rocksliders, Differential Armor, Full Exo cage, and a Custom Made Flat bed. 63" chevy leafs in the rear with the rear springs relocated to the front. Front CV Joint Conversion, Shock Hoops, Rancho Long Travel Shocks (V'ed in the rear).

I get about 25-30 Inches of tire articulation when flexing, I could get a little more but the front springs are a little worn(was on a budget). They are easy to replace anyway haha!

Minor mods: Gas filler relocated to tool box, 4 foot whip, Kicker Comp 10 sub with Pioneer Mosfet deck and Pioneer Tweet/4in Component Speakers. Integra Bucket Seats!

I absolutely love this truck because it will go anywhere and is very very efficient! It is kind of a pain to drive around town sometimes but i love her. I use her as my DD and i get great mileage. I average 21 in the city and about 19-20 highway(damn 5.29s haha)

here is a few pics!

Future Mods are:
Hydro Assist
Its set up for 4-link but thats a ways off
Front and rear ARB Locker
New Ring and Pinion
Square Tube Front Drive Line
Rear CV Joint Conversion
Marlin Crawler Solid Transfer Case Mount

What do you guys think so far?

edit: I forgot to mention when the transfer case is doubled down in 4 low, it goes about .1 mph! hahaha!

Sweet man!!! Had a 93 nissan hardbody 4cyl 5 speed 4x4 rc it was a great truck. had 163,000miles on it and was still getting 20mpg highway. Decided to make it a woods beater and it was also great at that the 4lo could take you anywhere and it was all stock with 31's I sure miss it.
