Default Just picked up the new Dakota

I'm new to the forum, and just picked up my new Dakota last week. It's a 2002 SLT QC 4x4 4.7L Automatic, 122k miles and super clean. Let me know what you think...

The basics... intake exhaust, tires (maybe new wheels too), and i think I'm going to ditch the camper shell. Quick question, what are thoughts about throttle body spacers? Or any other ways to improve gas mileage a little bit?
Thanks for your help.

spacers are junk dont bother. upgrade with a larger TB like I did. its a great mod. about 210$.

i remember when i said i was just going to do intake exhaust.....it never works out that way.

much better throttle response, really woke the motor up at 3grand. you can get a superchips for some more hp or there economy tune. oh and remove the clutch fan, we have stock efans that work fine. it complemented the larger TB.

oh and you can do the TMR mod, which is free. it will firm up the shifts at WOT. just pull the yellow wire with the green tracer going into the TCM. i made a tread about it a while back, just search for it and you will find all the info about that.
