Question exhaust question

Hello all, I was wondering what the cost of going to true duals, compared to the si/do muffler method. I was wondering both cost of materials to do, and labor because I can't do it myself. I found some exhaust that replaces the OEM muffler and pipe back. Also does a 98 with a 5.2 only have one front and rear 02 sensor or two? I just wanted a ball park figure on what i'm looking at as far as cost. Also what size is the OEM pipe? Is it 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 pipe? I was thinking about going 1/4 inch bigger but haven't decided yet. Thanks!

As for cost it could be anywhere from $300 to $1,000. Go to a muffler shop and ask.

As for the o2 sensors there is 2. there is an upstream and a downstream sensor. I wouldn't recommend true duals if your worried about price. Its hard to run the exhaust on the drivers side because the gas tank is in the way and there is no where to fit it. I would just go with the single in dual out muffler. the down pipe is 2 1/4 to the cat. Then goes into 2 1/2.

True duals aren't to bad to run, just have to run everything down th passenger side and bring the driveside Over in front of the spare tire...but u will spend about twice as much on true duals as a s/i d/o considering youll have twice the material
