on the way home from the track, was only car on dark road. All of a sudden, I see a white blob on the road, looks like a trashbag, right at the fringe of view. So I start slowing down. I'm maybe 200 feet from it, and then the dog suddenly gets up. I stopped about 50 feet from where it had been, but it was on the side of the road now. There were 3 dogs on the other side of the road, and 2 on the side I was on. Not sure if all strays or what. Not sure why it was laying in middle of road, either? (Granted it's not a very often traveled road)

If I didn't have my HIDs, who knows when I would have seen it.
