Need Help!!
My father recently handed down his 98 Dodge Dakota to me for graduation after i hit a tree with it and I have been looking at suspension lifts to purchase and I would like to find out what kind of rear end my truck has in it so i can finish this project up. Can anyone please help me out on this please?
Sorry, lifts for Dakotas don't really exist. Is it 4x2 or 4x4? Basically only 2 ways to lift a dakota:
1) body lift
2a) Extended shackles in back and coil spacers in front (4x2 only)
2b) extended shackles in back and torsion bar crank or new torsion keys (4x4 only)
if you click the FYI/DIY thread on the main page for dakotas, LOTS of info there.

Its a 4x4 and tuff country makes a suspension lift and rancho did also but they discontinued it im going to check with tuff country sometime next week to see if they still do and if not I guess I can SAS it.
