Same here, I love playing in the mud. The two times that I have gotten stuck it was because of my own stupidity.

I drove mine through some mud holes that were a little deeper than only half way up on my rims. (the things we'll do to catch a 20 - 30 pound salmon). but anyway, after driving out from this place my rear wheels would lock up on me when coming to a stop. And just tapping them, they would lock up on me. Finally had to take to Les Schwab (before heading back home.. 2 1/2 hour drive). They removed the rear wheels and drums and flushed them out with some cleaner. You should have seen all the mud and crap. Now I'm a little nervous about doing that again. Seriously affected my rear ABS and I don't want to keep having to go to Les Schwab just to have my brakes cleaned when going through some simple mud puddles.

Anyone else have this problem?

Ive havent had too much trouble with this but it is better to do a few runs through some puddle to rinse some out and do press the brake pedal down a little while moving to help remove some of the mud from contact areas instead of waiting until a complete stop is needed. Obviously mud can cause all sorts of issues if not cleaned out but i have mudded for years and hardly ever had an lasting issues. Make sure all holes that can be plugged are so not to make it easier for entry.

I've never had a problem with mud in my drums. Ive had water up to my headlights when crossing a creek and ive had mud up to my headlights too.
