Since I live in Canada prices are higher but I ordered my 3" body lift from the states for $250 plus $20 shipping. If that's too much 3" diameter uhmw can be cut to whatever length and drilled out to fit the bolts, still have to extend the steering shaft tho... Hockey pucks will work too...lol

3" is about the biggest body lift you'll find and about the biggest you want to go, anyway.

While it might be tempting to go the home made route, you're much better off in the long run buying a decent kit like the one from Performance Accessories. Yeah, it seems like a lot of money, but think how much time you'll spend chasing down the right bolts, lowering the radiator shroud, raising the bumper, extending the steering column, etc. without the proper parts that come in the kit. By the time you get all that stuff, it probably won't be much cheaper to do a home brew setup, either.

This is the one Tom A was talking about...

If you check "where to buy" it looks like there is a vender right outside Buffalo. Maybe you could check them out.

i live in the northeast and one thing i know is body lifts are a no no. because in the winter they salt the roads and with that fresh metal and the salt you rust the top of your frame rails and the bottom of your floor pan. i would go with a suspension lift. i got mine from Total Performance inc (abc.eznettools.net/totalperformance/index.html ) and the kit was not to expencive and it took about 2.5 hours to do

If you want a lift, why not to a T/S lift with a body lift...seems cheaper to me.
