Default 1500 leaf spring and coil spring swap to dakota slt

Hi I'm new. I wanna know if I could put ram 1500 leaf springs and coil shocks on 2000 dodge dakota slt ext cab.

Is your truck 2wd or 4wd?

Either way I'm going to guess they will not just interchange....There will likely be extensive fabrication required

It's a 4 wheel drive truck. I've done some work to it but want suggestions on homemade lifts

Your truck has a torsion bar set up for the front which means no coils up front right now. As far as a home made lift....you could do a SAS (solid axle swap) for the front. Or make yourself drop brackets for the control arms, diff, etc. Or since your trucks a 2000 their are companies that make lift kits for it.
