Default Polished headlights....

Well for about the third time I tried something different with those darn plastic headlamps they insist putting on cars and trucks.....I hate them. Seen a video on youtube about wet sanding with 1000 grit paper and then about three coats of clear acrylic laquer. They came out good but I'm really looking for long term results which this is suppose to give. They were actually yellow, came up almost clear, not perfect but, I can live with it. I did another vehicle an 2004 with clear lenses and they actually came out with a dark tint but do look better. We shall see how long they last this time. I really wish they would use the good old glass that lasted till they went out....just a rant..

the aiming and mounting on them is a little funky, I used some washers behind the mounts to try and aim them a little, they haven't fallen off yet. I've got photos around somewhere in my topic histories.
